Target Background

Function
Hydrolyzes alpha-1,2-linked fucose. Also active on fucosylated xyloglucan oligosaccharides. No activity with 3-fucosyllactose, p-nitrophenyl-alpha-I-fucopyranoside, lacto-N-fucopentaose II, lacto-N-fucopentaose III or alpha 1,6-fucosylated chitopentaose. Involved in apoplastic xyloglucan metabolism.
