Target Background

Function
Essential component of some SCF-type E3 ligase complex that positively regulates the gibberellin signaling pathway. Upon gibberellin treatment, the complex mediates the ubiquitination and subsequent degradation of DELLA protein SLR1, a repressor of the gibberellin pathway, leading to activate the pathway.
Subcellular Location
Nucleus.
Tissue Specificity
Widely expressed. Preferentially expressed in unopened flowers, shoot apices and elongation stem. Expressed at lower level in the leaf blades, leaf sheaths, roots and rachis.
