Function
Core component of the type II secretion system required for the energy-dependent secretion of extracellular factors such as proteases and toxins from the periplasm. Pseudopilin (pilin-like) protein that polymerizes to form the pseudopilus. Further polymerization triggers pseudopilus growth.
