Target Background

Function

Transcriptional activator. Shown to have a role in the negative regulation of exit from L1 arrest and dauer diapause dependent on IIS signaling (insulin and insulin-like growth factor (IGF) signaling). Hypodermal expression is regulated by IIS/daf-16 while neuronal expression is not under the control of IIS/daf-16.
