Target Background

Function

Required for several aspects of embryonic development including normal development of the eye, notochord, neural tube and other organ tissues, and for embryonic turning. It is unclear whether it displays nucleotidyltransferase activity in vivo. Binds single-stranded RNA (ssRNA).
