Target Background

Function

Prevents homeodomain proteins (e.g. STM) association to plasmodesmata and, consequently, cell-to-cell transport. Binds to RNA. Alters STM RNA binding capacity. Regulates cytoskeleton (e.g. actin) organization that determinates cell shape. Regulates stomata patterning and drought tolerance. Involved in restricting tobamovirus (e.g. oilseed rape mosaic virus) infectivity, probably by interfering with cell-to-cell virus movement.
