Function

Mnh complex is a Na(+)Li(+)/H(+) antiporter involved in Na(+) and/or Li(+) excretion. Na(+)/H(+) antiport consumes a transmembrane electrical potential, and is thus inferred to be electrogenic. Does not transport K(+), Ca(2+) or Mg(2+).
