Function
Required for junctional attachments between hypodermis and muscle, and between the apical epithelial surface and the cuticular matrix. Essential for enclosure of the embryo by the hypodermis, hypodermal integrity, embryo elongation, and maintenance of hypodermal morphology in fully elongated embryos.
