Function

Flavonol-specific transcription activator involved in the regulation of several genes of flavonoid biosynthesis. Activates the expression of CHS, CHI, F3H and FLS1. Controls flavonol biosynthesis primarily in cotyledons and leaves. Confers tolerance to UV-B.
