Target Background

Function
Auxiliary subunit of the NatA N-alpha-acetyltransferase complex. Required for male gametocyte development, embryogenesis, suspensor development and the formation of the quiescent center (QC) in the root meristem. Involved in plant immunity through the regulation of SNC1 stability. Required for embryo development.
Gene References into Functions
  1. N-terminal acetylation by the NatA complex acts as a cellular surveillance mechanism during stress and that imprinting of the proteome by NatA is an important switch for the control of metabolism, development and cellular stress responses downstream of abscisic acid. [NAA15] PMID: 26184543
Tissue Specificity
Expressed in leaves, roots, shoots and flowers.
