Data show that the non-conserved C-terminus of Synechococcus elongatus N-acetylglutamate kinase (NAGK) enhances arginine inhibition and holds most of the differences between S. elongatus and Arabidopsis NAGK with respect to arginine sensitivity. PMID: 19409905
