Target Background

Function
Protein phosphatase that acts as negative regulator of abscisic acid (ABA) signaling. Involved in the regulation of root architecture development and drought resistance. Can dephosphorylate SAPK8 and SAPK10 in vitro. Together with PYL10, SAPK8 and SAPK10, may form an ABA signaling module involved in stress response.
