Target Background

Function

Plays a role in the attachment of tissues and in axonal guidance during early developmental stages. May functionally antagonize the peroxidasin pxn-2 to maintain neuronal development.

Results suggest that pxn-1, like other peroxidasins, plays an important role throughout development of Caenorhabditis elegans. PMID: 25475546
