Target Background

Function

E3 RING-finger protein, member of the UBC2/RAD6 epistasis group. Associates to the E2 ubiquitin conjugating enzyme ubc2/rad6 to form the ubc2-rad18 ubiquitin ligase complex involved in postreplicative repair (PRR) of damaged DNA.

Gene References into Functions

Using these screens and immunoblot measures of Tf1 proteins, we identified a total of 61 genes that promote integration. Two candidates, Rhp18 and the NineTeen complex were tested in two-hybrid assays and were found to interact with Tf1 IN. PMID: 29232693
Report identified Rhp18 as another binding partner of Brc1 which could be important for replication forks. PMID: 28784724
