Target Background

Function
Cytochrome c oxidase subunit required for growth under hypoxic conditions. Involved in the assembly of the Complex III-Complex IV supercomplex, as well as in the recruitment of COX13 and RCF2 into cytochrome c oxidase. May also be required for late-stage assembly of the COX12 and COX13 subunits and for cytochrome c oxidase activity.
