Target Background

Function

Required for transport of secretory proteins from the Golgi complex. Catalyzes the transfer of phosphatidylinositol and phosphatidylcholine between membranes in vitro. Plays a role in root hair tip elongation as a key regulator of polarized membrane trafficking. May promote the PtdIns(4,5)P2 synthesis and organization in root hair membrane.
