Target Background

Function

Possesses intrinsic ATP-dependent nucleosome-remodeling activity. This activity may be required for DNA repair. Does not seem to be required for DNA repair and regulation of homologous recombination (HR).

Gene References into Functions

Results from translational fusion of AtNDL1 and AtRAD5B in seedlings and reproductive organs revealed that both shared similar expression patterns with the highest expression observed in male reproductive organs. Moreover, they shared similar domains of localization in roots, suggesting their potential functioning together in reproductive and root development processes. PMID: 28865954
