Target Background

Function

Probable inactive ADP-ribosyltransferase that functions with RCD1 to regulate oxidative stress, hormonal and developmental responses. May regulate some stress-responsive genes. Seems to play a smaller developmental role than R.

RCD1 and SRO1 are also necessary for proper cell differentiation. PMID: 21172813
RCD1 and SRO1 are required for the proper development of Arabidopsis in an unequally redundant manner. PMID: 19548978
This study shows that RCD1 and SRO1 are at least partially redundant and that they are essential genes for plant development. PMID: 19625634
