In searching for spontaneous suppressors of synthetic lethality of tsa1Delta rad51Delta double mutants, we identified that the loss of thioredoxin reductase Trr1 rescues their viability. PMID: 25247923
The cytosolic thioredoxin-thioredoxin reductase system and not the glutaredoxins contributes to the reduction of GSSG PMID: 19951944
The iron-binding activity of thioredoxin reductase was identified. PMID: 18406344
the crystal structure of Trr1 at the resolution of 2.8 A, the first fungal TrxR structure PMID: 18930846
