Crystal structure of the Xpo1p nuclear export complex identified three Xpo1-Nup42 interaction sites. PMID: 28791779
The exportin Crm1 is also required for the same pre-ribosome maturation events that involve Rrp12. Thus, in addition to their implication in nuclear export, Rrp12 and Crm1 participate in earlier biosynthetic steps that take place in the nucleolus. PMID: 25474739
A functional link between Xpo1 and the spindle pole body and a role for this exportin in spindle biogenesis in budding yeast, is proposed. PMID: 18573877
