Precision
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%
Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%
Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.

Linearity
To assess the linearity of the assay, samples were spiked with high concentrations of mouse IP3 in various matrices and diluted with the Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.

Description

Inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate (IP3) is a key second messenger molecule in cellular signaling pathways. Phospholipase C-mediated hydrolysis of phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate generates IP3, which plays a fundamental role in intracellular calcium mobilization by binding to IP3 receptors on the endoplasmic reticulum. This interaction triggers calcium release from intracellular stores, initiating downstream signaling cascades necessary for numerous cellular processes including muscle contraction, neurotransmission, and hormone responses. IP3 levels serve as important indicators of cellular activation and are widely studied in research examining signal transduction mechanisms.

The Mouse inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate ELISA Kit (CSB-E13410m) provides quantitative measurement of IP3 in Mus musculus samples using a sandwich assay principle. This kit accommodates multiple sample types including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, tissue homogenates, and cell lysates. The assay offers a detection range of 0.78-50 pg/mL with a sensitivity of 0.195 pg/mL. Detection occurs at 450 nm wavelength, requiring 50-100 μL sample volume and 1-5 hours assay time for completion.
