Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%
Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%
Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
To assess the linearity of the assay, samples were spiked with high concentrations of human β-EP in various matrices and diluted with the Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.

This Human β-EP ELISA Kit was designed for the quantitative measurement of Human β-EP protein in serum, urine, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), saliva, tissue homogenates. It is a Sandwich ELISA kit, its detection range is 62.5 pg/mL-4000 pg/mL and the sensitivity is 15.6 pg/mL.

I would like to ask about the Human Beta-Endorphin ELISA Kit (CSB-E06821h). In the specification and the manual, I can't understand the difference between the “sensitivity 15.6 pg/mL” and the “detection range of the assay is from 62.5 pg/mL to 4,000 pg/mL”. Is 15.6 pg/mL the minimum detectable level in this ELISA kit? If so, why was the minimum detectable level (15.6 pg/mL) lower than the lowest level of the range (62.5 pg/mL)?
The sensitivity of 15.6pg/ml is the minimum detectable level of this kit, which is obtained by the O.D value of 20 replicates of the zero standard plus their three standard deviations. It is undetectable below this parameter (15.6pg/ml). The measured values of samples in the range of 15.6-62.5pg/ml have large variability. 62.5pg/ml represents the concentration point of the standard S1, and 62.5-4000pg/mL is the detection range of the kit.
