Description |
This recombinant human claudin-18.2 (CLDN 18.2) is prepared in mammalian cells. Its target gene encodes the full human claudin-18.2 (CLDN 18.2), containing a 10xHis-tag at the C-terminus. The CLDN 18.2 protein has been validated to be active through a functional ELISA. Immobilized human CLDN 18.2 protein can bind to the recombinant anti-CLDN 18.2 monoclonal antibody. And the EC50 is 5.225-9.256 ng/ml. In the WB assay, this CLDN 18.2 protein was detected by the mouse anti-6xHis monoclonal antibody. Three bands appeared on the gel electrophoresis, respectively corresponding to monomer, homodimer, homotrimer of the CLDN 18.2. CLDN 18.2, the isoform of CLDN 18, is a tight junction protein exclusively expressed in differentiated epithelial cells of gastric mucosa under normal physiological conditions. Studies have demonstrated that CLDN 18.2 was highly expressed in primary gastric malignancies and post-metastatic types of cancer, including carcinomas of the pancreas, esophagus, ovaries, and lungs. Therefore, CLDN 18.2 has become an ideal target for researchers to develop immunotherapies for solid tumors such as gastric cancer and pancreatic cancer. |
Endotoxin | Less than 1.0 EU/ug as determined by LAL method. |
Activity | Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized human CLDN18.2 (CSB-MP005498HU(A5)) at 5 μg/ml can bind anti-CLDN18.2 recombinant Monoclonal Antibody (CSB-RA005498A1HU), the the EC50 is 5.225-9.256 ng/ml. |

Storage Condition | Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |
Shelf Life | The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature
and the stability of the protein itself. Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C. |
Lead Time | Basically, we can dispatch the products out in 3-7 working days after receiving your orders. Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time. |
Notes | Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week. The immunization strategy should be optimized (antigen dose, regimen and adjuvant). |
