Code CSB-PA010378OA45nme1HU
Size US$319
Uniprot No. P16403
Image
  • IHC image of CSB-PA010378OA45nme1HU diluted at 1:20 and staining in paraffin-embedded human ovarian cancer performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a biotinylated secondary antibody and visualized using an HRP conjugated SP system.

  • IHC image of CSB-PA010378OA45nme1HU diluted at 1:20 and staining in paraffin-embedded human glioma performed on a Leica BondTM system.

  • Chromatin Immunoprecipitation Hela (4*106) were treated with Micrococcal Nuclease, sonicated, and immunoprecipitated with 5µg anti-HIST1H1C (CSB-PA010378OA45nme1HU) or a control normal rabbit IgG. The resulting ChIP DNA was quantified using real-time PCR with primers against the β-Globin promoter.

  • Immunofluorescence staining of PC-3 cells with CSB-PA010378OA45nme1HU at 1:12.5, counter-stained with DAPI. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde, permeabilized using 0.2% Triton X-100 and blocked in 10% normal Goat Serum. The cells were then incubated with the antibody overnight at 4°C. The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor 488-congugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L).

Immunogen Peptide sequence around site of Lys (45) derived from Human Histone H1.2
Raised in Rabbit
Species Reactivity Human
Tested Applications ELISA, IHC, IF, ChIP; Recommended dilution: IHC:1:10-1:100, IF:1:10-1:100
Relevance Histone H1 protein binds to linker DNA between nucleosomes forming the macromolecular structure known as the chromatin fiber. Histones H1 are necessary for the condensation of nucleosome chains into higher-order structured fibers. Acts also as a regulator of individual gene transcription through chromatin remodeling, nucleosome spacing and DNA methylation (By similarity).
