PECAM1 polyclonal antibody CSB-PA851852 was produced in the rabbit immunized by using the synthesized peptide derived from Human CD31 around the non-phosphorylation site of Y713 as the immunogen. The target protein PECAM1, a cell adhesion molecule, is found on the surface of platelets, monocytes, neutrophils, and some types of T-cells, and makes up a large portion of endothelial cell intercellular junctions. The protein is required for leukocyte transendothelial migration (TEM) under most inflammatory conditions. Diseases associated with PECAM1 include Angiosarcoma and Capillary Hemangioma.
This PECAM1 polyclonal antibody was tested in the WB, IHC, IF and ELISA applications. The non-conjugated IgG was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. It reacts with the PECAM1 proteins of human or mouse or rat-origin and may be used to detect the endogenous levels of PECAM1 protein.
