  • IHC image of CSB-PA020350LA01HU diluted at 1:400 and staining in paraffin-embedded human ovarian cancer performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a biotinylated secondary antibody and visualized using an HRP conjugated SP system.

Target Background

Function
Component of ribonuclease P, a ribonucleoprotein complex that generates mature tRNA molecules by cleaving their 5'-ends. Also a component of the MRP ribonuclease complex, which cleaves pre-rRNA sequences.
Gene References into Functions
  1. A pull-down assay further suggested the presence of a second K-turn in SL12. Based on the present results, together with available data, we discuss a structural basis for recognition of K-turn motifs in PhopRNA by PhoRpp38. PMID: 27114305
Subcellular Location
Nucleus, nucleolus.
Protein Families
Eukaryotic ribosomal protein eL8 family
