  1. Data found skewing of the genetic architecture at the ZMYM3 short tandem repeats (STR) in schizophrenia. Further, results found a bell-shaped distribution of alleles and selection against alleles at the extreme ends of this STR. PMID: 29332164

A chromosomal aberration involving ZMYM3 may be a cause of X-linked mental retardation in Xq13.1. Translocation t(X;13)(q13.1;?).
