Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.

Function
Transcription activator that binds to the DNA consensus sequence 5'-[ACG]CGCG[GTC]-3'. Regulates transcriptional activity in response to calcium signals. Binds calmodulin in a calcium-dependent manner. Involved in freezing tolerance in association with CAMTA1 and CAMTA3. Contributes together with CAMTA1 and CAMTA3 to the positive regulation of the cold-induced expression of DREB1A/CBF3, DREB1B/CBF1 and DREB1C/CBF2. Involved together with CAMTA3 and CAMTA4 in the positive regulation of a general stress response. Involved in tolerance to aluminum. Binds to the promoter of ALMT1 transporter and contributes to the positive regulation of aluminum-induced expression of ALMT1.
