Reconstitution

We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

Storage Condition

Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shelf Life

The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.

Notes

Function

Involved in the control of mitochondrial and peroxisomal division and morphology. In association with PEX11C, PEX11D, PEX11E and FIS1B, is involved in cell cycle-associated constitutive self-replication of preexisting peroxisomes.

Gene References into Functions

Studies indicated that the noxy15 mutation was located in At4g33650, encoding the dynamin-related protein DRP3A. PMID: 23370715
Data support a model for the replication of preexisting peroxisomes wherein DRP3A stimulates fission of elongated peroxisomes into daughter peroxisomes, which are then distributed between daughter cells. [DRP3A] PMID: 18539750
This study uses a T-DNA knockout to confirm the role of ADL2a/DRP3A in the regulation of plant mitochondrial morphology. PMID: 14754924
