To prepare this Recombinant Enterobacteria phage H19B stxB protein, the recombinant DNA was required, which was generated by fusing the stxB gene with N-terminal 6xHis tag sequence. Once the recombinant DNA was amplified and purified, a protein expression system, E.coli, was needed for this stxB protein production. After purification, a premium stxB recombinant proteinwas obtained. According to SDS-PAGE, its purity turns out to be 85%+.
stxB is a protein encoding gene encoding a protein named shiga-like toxin 1 subunit B (SLT-Ib). The protein encoded by this gene is also known as verocytotoxin 1 subunit B that is a nontoxic subunit of shiga-like toxin. Shiga-like toxins are produced by bacteria capable of infecting humans and causing life-threatening disease. stxB protein is the functional region by binding to the receptor, and the recombinant stxB protein can be useful in vaccine study, antibody test and other functional research. There are currently no reviews for this product.
