Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.

As to the fold, we haven't done the related identification, but the protein produced by the yeast system is theoretically capable of folding correctly and is a soluble protein, with glycosylation, phosphorylation and acylation post-translational modification, the buffer we provided does not contain any denaturant ingredients, theoretically correct folding should be no problem.

I am looking for a recombinant Mtf2 protein for gel shift assay and I am interested in your product CSB-YP896720HU. Before ordering I would however need to know the exact buffer composition it is shipped in and the concentration of the protein.

The shipping buffer is: Tris-based buffer,pH 8.0,50% glycerol
The concentration is arround 0.1-2mg/ml. Because the concentration will be different in different lot.

Polycomb group (PcG) protein that specifically binds histone H3 trimethylated at 'Lys-36' (H3K36me3) and recruits the PRC2 complex, thus enhancing PRC2 H3K27me3 methylation activity. Regulates the transcriptional networks during embryonic stem cell self-renewal and differentiation. Promotes recruitment of the PRC2 complex to the inactive X chromosome in differentiating XX ES cells and PRC2 recruitment to target genes in undifferentiated ES cells. Required to repress Hox genes by enhancing H3K27me3 methylation of the PRC2 complex. In some conditions may act as an inhibitor of PRC2 activity: able to activate the CDKN2A gene and promote cellular senescence by suppressing the catalytic activity of the PRC2 complex locally. Binds to the metal-regulating-element (MRE) of MT1A gene promoter.
