Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.

Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.

Notes

We are interest in the following product CSB-BP008789HU.
But we have following questions:
Is there a possibility to order clones or constructs that you use for these proteins?
We are also interested in human Iodothyronine deiodinase Type II and Type III. We would like to have the proteins with selenocysteine residues. However the according to the latest information on your website, the selenocysteines have been mutated instead of using a SECIS element. Could you please let me know if you can generate these proteins without mutations. We are also interested in the clones or constructs.

The reason why we provided the mutated sequences were also explained in the email. Sorry, we can't provide the original sequence without mutation, and the corresonding clone and contructes can't be provided.The "U" selenocysteine is encoded by UGA and it's normally used as a stop codon in prokaryotic cells, which will lead to early termination of translation, so we will mutate this selenocysteine.

Function
Receptor for IZUMO1 present at the cell surface of oocytes (oolemma), which is essential for species-specific gamete recognition and fertilization. The IZUMO1:IZUMO1R/JUNO interaction is a necessary adhesion event between sperm and egg that is required for fertilization but is not sufficient for cell fusion. The ligand-receptor interaction probably does not act as a membrane 'fusogen'. Does not bind folate.
