Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.

Description

The expression region of this recombinant Human CPVL covers amino acids 23-476. The calculated molecular weight for this CPVL protein is 67.9 kDa. This CPVL recombinant protein is manufactured in e.coli. The N-terminal 6xHis-SUMO tag was fused into the coding gene segment of CPVL, making it easier to detect and purify the CPVL recombinant protein in the later stages of expression and purification.

The human probable serine carboxypeptidase CPVL contains a serine carboxypeptidase-like domain and is expressed in various tissues, including the liver, pancreas, and kidney. CPVL is believed to possess serine carboxypeptidase-like activity and is involved in the post-translational modification of proteins.
