Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Basically, we can dispatch the products out in 1-3 working days after receiving your orders. Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

 Q&A
Q:

If I want to store for a long time and do not want to add glycerol, I can decide whether to choose the lyophilized protein according to the my experimental demand.
Does it mean that the I choose lyophilized protein or frozen protein?
Can you provide the concentration as lyophilization form?

A:
Very nice to receive your inquiry. If you want to store for a long time and do not want to add glycerol, you can decide whether to choose the lyophilized protein according to the your experimental demand.
We mean if tyou doesn't want to add glycerol or only can accept a low concentration of glycerol, but you want to store the protein for a long time,
then it's better to choose the lyophilized form of the protein, because the protein without glycerol or low concentration of glycerol can't be stored for a long time, otherwise, it will be unstable.
You can choose a liquid protein with 5%-50% glycerol or a lyophilized protein without any glycerol. It decides by you.
The concentration of the lyophilized is dertermiend by you, as you can dissolve the protein and adjust the concentration by yourself.
Q:

If I would like to request a lyophilized protein without any glycerol, do I need to pay any additional cost?

A:
Very nice to receive your inquiry.  The lyophilization service is for free, that means you don't need to pay any cost for a lyophilized protein without any glycerol.

Target Background

Function
Catalyzes the transfer of a two-carbon ketol group from a ketose donor to an aldose acceptor, via a covalent intermediate with the cofactor thiamine pyrophosphate.
