Conjugate Avi-tag Biotinylated
E. coli biotin ligase (BirA) is highly specific in covalently attaching biotin to the 15 amino acid AviTag peptide. This recombinant protein was biotinylated in vivo by AviTag-BirA technology, which method is BriA catalyzes amide linkage between the biotin and the specific lysine of the AviTag.

Tag Info
Tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose.
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
Binds GTP but lacks intrinsic GTPase activity and is resistant to Rho-specific GTPase-activating proteins.
Gene References into Functions
  1. Rnd3 acted as a novel proangiogenic factor involved in cardiac responsive angiogenesis through HIF1alpha-VEGFA signaling promotion. PMID: 26781283
  2. These results indicate that RhoE plays a role in suppressing tumor initiation and progression. PMID: 26036260
  3. Rnd3 is a novel factor involved in intracellular calcium homeostasis regulation in the heart. PMID: 25348166
  4. Animals with Rnd3 haploinsufficiency are predisposed to hemodynamic stress. Hyperactivation of Rho kinase activity is responsible in part for the apoptotic cardiomyopathy development. PMID: 24901055
  5. Data show that the Plexin B2 receptor interacts physically and functionally with Rnd3 and stimulates RhoA activity in migrating cortical neurons. PMID: 24572910
  6. RhoE is indispensable for osteoclast migration and bone resorption by maintaining fast actin turnover in podosomes. RhoE activates podosome component cofilin by inhibiting its Rock-mediated phosphorylation. PMID: 24284899
  7. although Rnd3 expression is controlled transcriptionally by Ascl1, this proneural factor is itself required in radial glial progenitors only for proper orientation of cell divisions PMID: 23535656
  8. Rnd3 is a regulator of Notch1 signaling PMID: 23630292
  9. These findings support our previous report revealing the important role of RhoE in the normal development of the nervous system PMID: 22428561
  10. the important role of Rnd3/RhoE in the normal development PMID: 21552537
  11. a well defined Rnd3 effector Syx PMID: 20811643
  12. RhoE induces stress fiber disassembly by directly binding ROCK I and inhibiting it from phosphorylating downstream targets PMID: 12773565
  13. RhoE inhibits cell cycle progression upstream of the pRb checkpoint. PMID: 15340047
  14. study shows RhoE physiological upregulation before myoblast fusion is responsible for the decrease in RhoA and ROCKI activities, which are required for the fusion process; therefore, we conclude that RhoE is an essential regulator of myoblast fusion PMID: 18369372
  15. Our results suggest that RhoE can play important roles in the postnatal development and maturation of the CNS, especially in the migratory processes affecting the neurones. PMID: 19589369
  16. RhoE inhibits 4E-BP1 phosphorylation and eIF4E function impairing cap-dependent translation. PMID: 19850923
