Conjugate Avi-tag Biotinylated
E. coli biotin ligase (BirA) is highly specific in covalently attaching biotin to the 15 amino acid AviTag peptide. This recombinant protein was biotinylated in vivo by AviTag-BirA technology, which method is BriA catalyzes amide linkage between the biotin and the specific lysine of the AviTag.

Tag Info
Tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
Capable of hydrolyzing lactones and a number of aromatic carboxylic acid esters.
Gene References into Functions
  1. PON-2 regulates ENaC activity by modulating its intracellular trafficking and surface expression PMID: 28768768
  2. PON2 plays an important role in innate immune defense against Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection. PMID: 23911207
  3. macrophage triglyceride accumulation upregulates PON2 expression via MEK/ JNK/c-Jun pathway, and these effects could be related, at least in part, to cellular triglycerides-induced ROS formation. PMID: 23047827
  4. These results suggest that PON2 is a novel major intracellular factor that protects CNS cells against oxidative stress and confers gender-dependent susceptibility to such stress PMID: 23376469
  5. Macrophage PON2 modulates mechanisms that link endoplasmic reticulum stress, mitochondrial dysfunction and the development of atherosclerosis. PMID: 22864055
  6. expression in brain regions and protection against oxidative-stress-mediated neurotoxicity PMID: 21354197
  7. results demonstrate that PON2 plays an important role in hepatic insulin signalling and underscores the influence of macrophage-mediated inflammatory response on hepatic insulin sensitivity. PMID: 21361875
  8. Results illustrate that the antiatherogenic effects of PON2 are, in part, mediated by the role of PON2 in mitochondrial function. PMID: 20578959
  9. Under normal conditions macrophage endoplasmic reticulum stabilizes PON2 activity, and this effect could be attributed to ER proteins and redox status. PMID: 21036357
  10. PON2 proteins were present in the vast majority of tissues investigated. mRNA for these proteins was also expressed in most of these tissues suggesting local production and the ability to respond in situ to inflammatory stimuli. PMID: 20931267
  11. Pomegranite juice consumption antioxidative properties on mouse macrophages are mediated via PJ-induced stimulation of macrophage PON2 expression. PMID: 20537330
  12. analysis of macrophage cholesterol biosynthesis and decreased cellular paraoxonase 2 (PON2) expression in Delta6-desaturase knockout (6-DS KO) mice PMID: 20042190
  13. Increased macrophage PON2 expression under oxidative stress could represent a selective cellular response to reduce oxidative burden, which may lead to attenuation of macrophage foam cell formation. PMID: 12615656
  14. PON2 stimulation may represent a compensatory mechanism against the increase in cellular superoxide anion production and atherogenesis PMID: 15544923
  15. biphasic effect of oxidative stress on macrophage PON2 activity could be related to PON2 inactivation (decreased enzymatic activity) under oxidative stress induction at its low range PMID: 16970920
  16. role in airway epithelial cell inactivation of N-3-oxododecanoyl homoserine lactone; findings show that that Pseudomonas aeruginosa quorum sensing was enhanced in PON2-deficient airway epithelia PMID: 17122353
  17. macrophages from diabetic mice demonstrate increased oxidative stress and up-regulation of cellular PON2 PMID: 17258748
  18. Urokinase plasminogen activator upregulates paraoxonase 2 expression in macrophages via an NADPH oxidase-dependent mechanism. PMID: 18436804
  19. Data suggest that PON2 attenuates macrophage triglyceride accumulation and foam cell formation via inhibition of microsomal DGAT1 activity, which appears to be sensitive to oxidative state. PMID: 19091699
  20. The expression of the mPon2 gene is directly regulated by glucocorticoid-glucocorticoid receptor complexes. PMID: 19643039
