This Rat Minpp1 recombinant protein was produced in E.coli, where the gene sequence encoding Rat Minpp1 (31-481aa) was expressed with the N-terminal 6xHis tag. The purity of this Minpp1 protein was greater than 90% by SDS-PAGE.
Minpp1 belongs to the phosphatase family, and its main function is to hydrolyze inositol polyphosphates, converting them into lower phosphorylated forms. These polyphosphates include inositol hexaphosphate (IP6) and inositol tetrakisphosphate (IP4), and their concentrations within cells regulate multiple cell signaling pathways. The activity of Minpp1 influences several cell signaling pathways, including cell proliferation, apoptosis, cell cycle regulation, cell migration, and cell adhesion. By modulating the hydrolysis of inositol polyphosphates, Minpp1 plays a regulatory role in these cellular processes.
