  • IHC image of CSB-PA005755LA01HU diluted at 1:67 and staining in paraffin-embedded human lung cancer performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a Goat anti-rabbit polymer IgG labeled by HRP and visualized using 0.05% DAB. Secondary antibody only control: uses 1% BSA instead of primary antibody
  • Immunofluorescence staining of Hela cell with CSB-PA005755LA01HU at 1:20, counter-stained with DAPI. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde and blocked in 10% normal Goat Serum. The cells were then incubated with the antibody overnight at 4C. The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor 488-congugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L).

The cells were then incubated with the antibody overnight at 4C. The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor 488-congugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L).

Description

The COL8A1 polyclonal antibody was produced in rabbits using the recombinant human COL8A1 protein containing amino acids 572-744 as the immunogen. After immunization, the antibody was isolated and subjected to protein G chromatography to achieve a purity level exceeding 95%. This antibody can recognize and bind the COL8A1 protein from human and mouse samples.

This COL8A1 polyclonal antibody has been validated in various applications, including ELISA, WB, and IF. This demonstrates the ability of the COL8A1 polyclonal antibody to detect COL8A1 protein levels and distribution in these different contexts.

Function
Macromolecular component of the subendothelium. Major component of the Descemet's membrane (basement membrane) of corneal endothelial cells. Also component of the endothelia of blood vessels. Necessary for migration and proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells and thus, has a potential role in the maintenance of vessel wall integrity and structure, in particular in atherogenesis.; Vastatin, the C-terminal fragment comprising the NC1 domain, inhibits aortic endothelial cell proliferation and causes cell apoptosis.
