Description

The production of NOXA1 polyclonal antibody is through immunizing rabbits with the recombinant human NOXA1 (150-313AA). The resulting antibody occurs as an unconjugated IgG. It is reactive with human and mouse samples. Its purity is over 95% using protein G purified. This anti-NOXA1 antibody has been demonstrated to recognize the NOXA1 protein in ELISA, WB, IHC, and IF applications. Its target protein NOXA1 is the functional homolog of p67phox in vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) that modulates redox signaling and VSMC phenotype.

Function
Functions as an activator of NOX1, a superoxide-producing NADPH oxidase. Functions in the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) which participate in a variety of biological processes including host defense, hormone biosynthesis, oxygen sensing and signal transduction. May also activate CYBB/gp91phox and NOX3.
