Report located the trans-activation domain at amino acid residences 49-197 within the non-zinc finger region of HZF1 and identified three nuclear location signals within the zinc finger region. PMID: 19763908
The antisense method and RNA interference assay revealed that repression of the intrinsic expression of HZF1 blocked the hemin-induced erythroid differentiation and reduced the PMA-induced megakaryocytic differentiation of K562 cells. PMID: 16628192
