Target Background

Function
Adapter protein required for olfactory adaptation and recovery to volatile odorants, probably by desensitization of G-protein coupled receptors (GPCR). May play a role in clathrin-mediated GPCR endocytosis. Acts as positive regulator of insulin-like daf-2 signaling pathway probably by forming a complex with mpz-1 and phosphatase daf-18 likely resulting in daf-18 inhibition. Involved in egg-laying.
