Description

The generation of the CESA6 polyclonal antibody commences with the selection of a recombinant Oryza sativa subsp. japonica (Rice) CESA6 protein (124-280aa) as the immunogen. This protein is used to immunize a rabbit, inducing an antibody response. The serum is collected from the rabbit to obtain polyclonal antibodies, which are then purified through protein G affinity chromatography. The CESA6 antibody's functional utility is assessed in ELISA and WB assays, confirming its efficacy in detecting Oryza sativa subsp. japonica (Rice) CESA6 protein.

In Oryza sativa subsp. japonica (rice), CESA6 is a member of the cellulose synthase superfamily and is involved in the synthesis of cellulose microfibrils, which is a major component of the cell wall in plants. It plays a crucial role in cell wall formation and integrity.
