Description

The recombinant Escherichia coli O157:H7 CSPG protein is introduced into a rabbit, which triggers the production of antibodies against this antigen. An additional injection boosts antibody production, and the resulting CSPG polyclonal antibodies are collected and purified from the rabbit's serum using protein A/G. Rigorous testing in ELISA and WB assays has verified that the CSPG antibody specifically recognizes Escherichia coli O157:H7 CSPG protein.
