Target Background

Function
Catalyzes N-methylation of phosphoethanolamine, phosphomonomethylethanolamine and phosphodimethylethanolamine, the three methylation steps required to convert phosphoethanolamine to phosphocholine. Required for root system development and epidermal cell integrity through its role in choline and phospholipid metabolism.
