The WRK47 polyclonal antibody is generated by introducing recombinant Arabidopsis thaliana WRK47 protein into a rabbit, which prompts the production of antibodies that specifically target this antigen. To further enhance antibody production, a booster injection is administered. The resulting WRK47 polyclonal antibodies present in the rabbit's serum are then collected and purified using protein A/G. Thorough testing conducted through ELISA and WB assays has conclusively verified the WRK47 antibody's recognition of Arabidopsis thaliana WRK47 protein.
The Arabidopsis thaliana WRKY47 protein mainly functions to regulate gene expression in response to various environmental stresses and pathogen attacks. WRKY47 specifically regulates the expression of genes involved in defense responses, such as those encoding antimicrobial proteins and enzymes involved in the synthesis of defense-related compounds. It acts as a transcriptional activator or repressor, depending on the target gene, and helps coordinate the plant's defense mechanisms.
