Precision
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%
Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%
Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
Linearity
To assess the linearity of the assay, samples were spiked with high concentrations of mouse IL-35 in various matrices and diluted with the Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.

Description

Interleukin 35 (IL-35) is an anti-inflammatory cytokine belonging to the IL-12 family, composed of the IL-12α subunit (p35) and the IL-27β subunit (Ebi3). Regulatory T cells primarily produce this heterodimeric cytokine, which plays a key role in immune suppression and tolerance. IL-35 works by inhibiting T helper cell proliferation and promoting the expansion of regulatory T cell populations. This makes it an important mediator in autoimmune diseases, inflammatory responses, and cancer immunology research.

The Mouse Interleukin 35 ELISA Kit (CSB-E13145m) is a quantitative sandwich immunoassay designed for measuring IL-35 concentrations in mouse samples. This kit works with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, and tissue homogenates. It has a detection range of 15.6 pg/mL to 1000 pg/mL and sensitivity of 3.9 pg/mL. The assay requires 50-100 μL sample volume, operates at 450 nm detection wavelength, and can be completed within 1-5 hours.

Application Examples

Note: The following application examples are drawn from a selection of publications citing this product. For additional applications, please refer to the full list of references in the "Citations" section.

Researchers have used this ELISA kit to study inflammatory and immune responses across different tissue types and experimental contexts. Studies have applied the kit to quantify interleukin levels in serum samples as part of cytokine profiling panels, and to measure concentrations in tissue homogenates from joint and conjunctival tissues. The kit supports research examining anti-inflammatory cytokine networks and treatment efficacy studies.

Inflammatory cytokine profiling: Used alongside other cytokine measurements to determine immune response patterns in serum samples
Joint tissue research: Applied to quantify cytokine levels in joint tissue homogenates as part of inflammatory marker panels
Ocular inflammation studies: Used to measure cytokine concentrations in conjunctival tissue lysates during treatment effect studies
Anti-inflammatory research: Applied in studies examining regulatory cytokine networks alongside other immunomodulatory factors
