Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%
Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%
Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
To assess the linearity of the assay, samples were spiked with high concentrations of mouse IL-9 in various matrices and diluted with the Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.

This ELISA kit provides quantitative measurement of interleukin-9 (IL-9) in mouse samples, supporting immunological research into this T helper 9 (Th9) cell-derived cytokine that regulates mast cell activation, mucosal immunity, and anti-parasitic defense. Because IL-9 is produced transiently and at low concentrations even during active immune responses, detecting it requires an assay calibrated for picogram-level sensitivity across diverse biological matrices.
Detection Range: The 1.56–100 pg/mL range aligns with the low circulating concentrations of murine IL-9 observed in allergic airway inflammation and helminth infection models, where serum levels typically remain in the single-digit to low double-digit pg/mL range. Most samples can be assayed neat or with minimal dilution, simplifying workflow.
Sensitivity: At 0.78 pg/mL, the kit detects IL-9 in conditions where expression is minimal, such as unstimulated splenocyte cultures, early-phase allergic sensitization, or naïve control animals where baseline levels approach the sub-picogram range.
Sample Compatibility: Validation across serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, and tissue homogenates enables researchers to correlate systemic IL-9 levels with local tissue expression and in vitro Th9 polarization outputs within a single experimental framework.
Assay Efficiency: Requiring only 50–100 µL per well and 1–5 hours to complete, the kit accommodates limited-volume samples from murine bronchoalveolar lavage or primary Th9 differentiation cultures without pooling.
This kit is particularly suited for studies of allergic asthma, intestinal helminth immunity, and tumor microenvironment remodeling driven by IL-9 signaling.
