Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%
Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%
Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
To assess the linearity of the assay, samples were spiked with high concentrations of mouse IL-9 in various matrices and diluted with the Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.

This mouse IL9 ELISA kit employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique to measure the levels of mouse IL9 in multiple samples, including serum, plasma, or tissue homogenates. The enzyme-substrate chromogenic reaction is also used to amplify the signal and quantify the levels of the analyte through the intensity of the colored product. The color intensity positively correlates with the amount of IL9 bound in the initial step.
IL9 is mainly produced by T lymphocytes. IL-9-mediated signal transduction leads to the activation of STAT1, STAT3, and STAT5 signaling pathways, which are implicated in the progression of cancers, and allergic, inflammatory, and autoimmune diseases. The main role of IL9 is in the immune responses against parasites and the pathogenesis of allergic diseases such as asthma and bronchial hyperreactivity. IL9 exerts an anti-tumor role in solid cancers such as melanoma and breast cancer, whereas it facilitates tumor progression through it lymphocyte growth factor function in hematological neoplasms such as chronic lymphocytic leukemia and Hodgkin's lymphoma.
