Precision
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%
Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%
Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.

Linearity
To assess the linearity of the assay, samples were spiked with high concentrations of mouse CGRP in various matrices and diluted with the Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.

Sample type: Tissue homogenate

Sample species: Mouse

Sample dilution: No dilution

Review: ELISA kit shows high sensitivity and specificity in detecting CGRP. In mouse drg samples, the reproducibility was good. The kit was easy to operate, and the manufacturer provided detailed experimental steps and online technical support to help solve the problems in the experiment. The detection range (minimum and maximum concentration) of the ELISA kit was also adapted to the needs of the experiment. It has high sensitivity and can accurately detect CGRP at low concentration.

Sample type: Tissue homogenate

Sample species: Mouse

Sample dilution: 1:50

Review: I used CSB-EQ027706MO to detect mouse lung tissue homogenate samples. The OD values of the standard curve showed a good linear relationship between 0.176 and 1.749, and the OD values of samples were roughly in the range of 0.2 to 1.7. The kit has good repeatability, and the results of multiple parallel experiments have little fluctuation. From the perspective of operating experience, the reagent preloading design is very intimate, which reduces the tedious preparation steps and saves time. Moreover, it has high sensitivity and can accurately detect CGRP, which provides reliable support for scientific research data. It is a very reliable ELISA kit.

Target Background

Function
(From Uniprot)
CGRP induces vasodilation. It dilates a variety of vessels including the coronary, cerebral and systemic vasculature. Its abundance in the CNS also points toward a neurotransmitter or neuromodulator role.
Subcellular Location
Secreted.
Protein Families
Calcitonin family
Tissue Specificity
Detected in nerve cells of cerebrum, hippocampus and pons/midbrain in newborns, and only in nerve cells of pons/midbrain in adult.
