Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%
Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%
Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
To assess the linearity of the assay, samples were spiked with high concentrations of mouse VLDL in various matrices and diluted with the Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.

Very low density lipoprotein (VLDL) represents one of the major classes of plasma lipoproteins responsible for transporting endogenous triglycerides and cholesterol from the liver to peripheral tissues. VLDL particles are synthesized in hepatocytes and serve as precursors to low-density lipoproteins through metabolic conversion in the circulation. These lipoproteins play important roles in lipid metabolism and energy homeostasis, making them valuable biomarkers for studying metabolic disorders, cardiovascular disease risk, and lipid transport mechanisms in research applications.
The Mouse very low density lipoprotein ELISA Kit (CSB-E17089m) provides quantitative measurement of VLDL in Mus musculus samples using a sandwich assay principle. This kit works with serum, plasma, and tissue homogenates with a detection range of 0.78 ng/mL to 50 ng/mL and sensitivity of 0.195 ng/mL. The assay requires 50-100 μL sample volume, operates with detection at 450 nm wavelength, and can be completed within 1-5 hours.
Application Examples

This ELISA kit has been used in metabolic research studies to measure serum VLDL levels in mouse models. The applications span cardiovascular and lipid metabolism research where scientists measure lipoprotein profiles alongside other metabolic parameters.
• Metabolic profiling - Quantification of VLDL as part of comprehensive serum lipid panels including cholesterol fractions and triglycerides in mouse studies
• Cardiovascular research - Measurement of VLDL levels in conjunction with blood pressure measurements and other cardiovascular risk markers
• Intervention studies - Analysis of VLDL changes in response to therapeutic compounds or dietary interventions in mouse models
• Biomarker correlation - Integration of VLDL measurements with liver function markers and other metabolic indicators to understand physiological relationships

I would like to know if the Mouse very low density lipoprotein (VLDL) ELISA Kit can be used to measure vLDL in the supernatant of cell culture.
